Casino game design for the lobby: tiles, frames and originals

Our casino game design work is the operator-side art every game needs once it reaches your lobby: tiles, card frames, badges, hero art and a consistent look for your in-house originals. We do not build games or slot maths.

What casino game design means here

Casino game design covers two very different jobs. One is building the game: maths model, RTP, reels, animation, certification. That is what game studios and providers do, and we do not. The other is everything a game needs to look right inside an operator's lobby: the tile, the card frame, the badges, the hero art for a launch and, for operators with their own in-house games, a full art set for those originals. That second job is ours.

So if you are looking for slot maths or a game developer, we are the wrong studio. If you need casino game art that makes thousands of provider games and your own crash or plinko game look like they belong in one casino, read on.

The casino graphics every game needs in a lobby

A game goes live on your site with one piece of art from the provider. To actually be found and promoted, it usually needs several:

AssetWhere it showsTypical spec
Lobby tileCategory rows, grids, search results3:4, 2:3, 47:66, 16:9 or 1:1, WebP or AVIF at 1x and 2x, about 30-60 KB at 2x

BadgesOn top of any tileOverlay: NEW, HOT, JACKPOT, FREE SPINS, BONUS BUY, EXCLUSIVE, TOP 10, COMING SOON

Not every game needs every piece. The tile and badges are the baseline. Hero tiles, animated tiles and banners go to the games you actively push. Sizes are listed in full on the thumbnail sizes guide.

Slot game art from the provider's own kit

For casino slot games design work, we start from each provider's official marketing kit, which you already receive as an operator. Characters, backgrounds and logos come from that kit. We recompose them into your frame, add your provider tab and title treatment, and export to your sizes. We never redraw or alter provider logos, and we are not affiliated with any provider.

That approach keeps the game recognisable to players who know it from other sites, while the frame, typography and badges make it look like part of your casino. The casino game thumbnails page shows the 12 layouts that template can be built on.

Card frames: casino art for featured games

Card frames wrap the game art in a finished border with an RTP medallion and a provider plate. They work well for VIP sections, top-10 rows and anywhere you want a game to look premium without commissioning new art. Each frame comes in six finishes, so you can tier sections by colour: gold for top picks, obsidian for high volatility, your brand colour for exclusives.

An art system for your originals: crash, mines, plinko and more

Crypto casinos often run their own games next to provider content: crash, mines, plinko, dice, limbo, roulette, blackjack, keno, hi-lo, tower, wheel and coinflip. These usually launch with whatever art the developer had time for, and each one ends up looking different. Next to polished provider tiles, that is noticeable.

We design originals as one set. They share a frame, a type treatment, a lighting style and a colour logic, with each game getting its own central object (the rocket for crash, the gem grid for mines, the peg board for plinko). The set reads as your brand's games, not a random collection. When you add a new original later, it is drawn into the same system.

Each original typically gets a lobby tile in your grid ratio, a 16:9 version for landscape rows and a promo banner set for launch week. Because the set shares one casino art direction, your CRM team can run a single originals campaign with banners that match the tiles players then click. More on crash specifically on the crash game thumbnails page.

How to brief casino game art

A good brief saves a round of revisions. Send us:

  1. Your casino URL, so we see the lobby, colours and existing tiles in context.
  2. The tile ratio and pixel size your platform uses, plus any overlays it adds (favourite, play button, provider label).
  3. A list of games with game IDs, so files arrive named for upload.
  4. Provider marketing kits, or confirmation we should work from the official kits you hold.
  5. Markets and languages, if badges or promo copy need localising.
  6. For originals: the game list, any existing logo or mascot, and two or three reference sites whose feel you like.

Start with five games. We send five tiles back in 48 hours as a free sample, with no payment. Once you approve the look, we lock it as your template and run the rest of the catalogue in batches. The full flow is on how we work.

Pricing for casino game art

Lobby tiles cost EUR 0.80-2.50 per tile at volume, after a frame and template design from EUR 390. Hero tiles start at EUR 35, animated tiles at EUR 70 and localisation at EUR 8 per language per asset. Payment is crypto only (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL and others), invoiced in EUR. The client owns paid files, and your frame is never reused for another operator. See the rate card for retainers.

Casino game design questions

Do you develop casino games or slot maths?

No. We design the art operators use to present games in the lobby: tiles, card frames, badges, hero tiles, banners and art sets for in-house originals. Game development and maths stay with the provider or your own studio.

Can you design art for our in-house crash, mines and plinko games?

Yes. We build originals as one matching set covering games such as crash, mines, plinko, dice, limbo, roulette, blackjack, keno, hi-lo, tower, wheel and coinflip, so new originals fit the same system later.

Do you redraw provider artwork?

No. We work from each provider's official marketing kit and never redraw or alter provider logos. We recompose the existing art into your frame and sizes.

Who owns the game art you make?

You own the files you pay for. Your frame is never reused for another operator, and we only show work in our portfolio with written permission. An NDA is available on request.
